Changes are going on in our lives constantly and the Lord is so interested in our reactions to them. A child generally reacts by stamping their feet, pouting or screaming if they can't get their own way because they don't know how to express their frustration. Praise the Lord, as their vocabulary and understanding grows so does their ability to say what they really feel and they progress in their growing up into adults.

Our spiritual walk with the Lord is similar in that we have to learn to talk freely to the Lord and express what is in our heart. He already knows but He loves us to be really open with Him, to sit at His feet and chat things over with Him. We know that even out of courtesy we should have a two way conversation, so learn to listen and hear what He is saying by asking Him for clarity and a deeper understanding of His ways for we know that His ways are not our ways. This is where we as Christians need to listen to our spiritual Father God (like a child learns by listening to mum and dad) so that gradually we learn what His ways are and we can follow them and become the person He has planned for us to be.

Seek the help of the Holy Spirit for He is a very present help in a time of trouble and in fact He wants us to call on Him for help far more than we do. For the changes going on in your life right now, take time out and share it all with the Lord and ask for His help, direction and guidance so that every day your life will become more pleasing to Him.

I pray for you now that you will know His peace which passes all understanding and progress in your steps towards spiritual maturity in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
