Pam became a Christian at the age of eleven. She established a flourishing Christian Fellowship at school and was always found preaching to the pupils or quoting the scriptures to the Religious Education teachers.
Pam trained as a nurse and gained many additional qualifications. She was offered a directorship but it was not long after that Pam was challenged about her commitment to the Lord. He was asking her to do things which seemed impossible with work responsibilities, until the conflict she allowed within her resulted in a heart attack, followed by major heart surgery. During that year of being in and out of ‘Intensive care’ and with many near death experiences, Pam again began to enter into a deeper walk with the Lord, where He taught and showed her many things. She returned to her first love and was now on fire for God.
The Lord led Pam to meet Evangelist Marilyn Harry who then trained Pam at the ‘ Harvest Time School of Evangelism’. She met people of differing backgrounds but of one aim; to seek the lost. Door to door work, generally considered taboo by many Christians, revealed the lost, lonely, heartbroken and desperate people, who eagerly responded to the love call of Jesus, BUT….they were also taught that Jesus would have them care about the people where they lived first. It was like a sword piercing Pam’s heart. She realized she didn’t really care much for the City of Bristol let alone the people. She cried out to the Lord to forgive her, to change her heart and give her the love she needed. In that moment, Pam was bathed in a tremendous anointing from the Lord, like liquid oil, till she sobbed and sobbed in such deep travail for the lost of Bristol . This went on for several hours during which time the Lord spoke to her about bringing Christians together, from all over the City, to pray for the lost and other aspects of life in the City as led by the Holy Spirit…....
